We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist Trinity staff and all guests at the church office and gatherings by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, supporting all ministry initiatives, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

To be successful as a Ministry Assistant, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. She/He should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Ministry Assistants must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, Ministry Assistants should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

Ministry Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Handling office tasks, such as filing, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.

  • Maintaining financial excellence, such as inputting weekly gifts into donation software, collecting receipts, and paying invoices.

  • Coordinating events, such as scheduling members meetings and other events, maintaining church calendar, and purchasing event supplies.

  • Assisting ministry directors, such as assuring Children’s Ministry curriculum and supplies are maintained, coordinating communication with new parents, and communicating with childcare care workers.

  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.

  • Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
